Tampere is getting a new appro event – Museum Appro is coming on March 25th!
Moomin Museum, Vapriikki and the history of Finnish working life – all in the same appro event! Tampere’s first-ever Museum Appro takes place on March 25th! You’ll get to visit three different museums, and by collecting two stamps (one per museum), you’ll earn an overall patch. The event is also suitable for students with families.
Join us solo or with friends – a fun cultural tour awaits!
Museum Appro includes:
Moomin Museum – the world's only Moomin Museum! (ticket with appro pass 4 €)
Werstas – a museum full of workers' history (free entry!)
Vapriikki – Choose your favorite from the many exhibitions (student ticket 7 €)
Ticket sales start on March 11th at 12 pm on Kide.app. Ticket price: 3 € (includes the appro pass & overall patch!). Museum entry tickets are purchased separately. The ticket for the Moomin Museum is 4 € by showing your appro pass, and for Vapriikki is 7 € by showing your student card (valid for all exhibitions). Entry to Werstas is free.
The Manserock exhibition also features a pin-making workshop from 3:30 to 5:30 pm, where you can design and create your own pin, for example, to decorate your overalls! The Moomin Museum Studio, on the other hand, is open until 4 PM, where every visitor can create their own version of the Moominhouse using paper architecture techniques. You can get a stamp from Vapriikki by participating in the pin-making workshop or by visiting one of Vapriikki’s many exhibitions. The Moomin Museum stamps are given at the starting point at the end of your museum visit, at the same counter where you receive your appro pass. You can get a stamp from Werstas at the counter after visiting the exhibition.
Start: 2–4:30 pm in front of the Moomin Museum at Tampere Hall (Tampere-talo)
Finish: You can exchange your completion pass (with two stamps) for an overall patch at 5-7:30 pm at Onda - Music & Arts Cafe (Aleksanterinkatu 22). Onda is open until 10 pm, and you are welcome to stay and enjoy the evening after the tour.
