Ilves has grown from small neighborhood rinks to the size of an arena. From the outdoor ice of Lake Näsijärvi and Koulukatu to becoming a symbol of Tampere and one of the most recognized clubs in Finland.

In sports, there are always winners and losers. In stories, there are always heroes and villains. In the story of Ilves, there are only winners—because our winners are made in values and attitudes. If we fail, we see it as an opportunity to learn. For us, the biggest loser is the one who does not respect others. Our worst enemy is giving up, and that is something we refuse to do.

The true Ilves is made in locker rooms, where the sound of shared battle cries echoes—and on the ice, where we fight until the very last ounce of strength, yet always pat our opponents on the shoulder after the game. Ilves is made in the stands, where the fans cheer in both victory and defeat—and in the homes, where washing machines run endlessly with training gear. The future Ilves is made in junior activities, where fearless little Ilves players are raised.

Match tickets include the right to travel on Tampere region’s public transport (Nysse), covering all buses, trams, and train connections between:

• Tampere–Nokia–Tampere

• Tampere–Lempäälä–Tampere

• Tampere–Orivesi–Tampere

• Tesoma–Tampere city center–Tesoma

The travel right begins three (3) hours before the start of the game and ends five (5) hours after the scheduled start time. The right to travel must be validated by showing the barcode on the match ticket at the ticket device every time you board a bus or tram, including transfers. On train journeys, the ticket must be shown at the station platform device before departure.
