Pirkanmaan Kierrätys ja Työtoiminta ry (see pirkanmaankierratys.fi) operates recycling centers in the Tampere region, located in Nekala and Lielahti. Our selection includes a wide range of household items, furniture, electronics, clothing, and various textiles.

The association promotes the principles of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals in its activities. We support environmentally friendly practices and the reuse of products to help mitigate climate change – for example, reusing a chair as a chair.

We provide people who have been unemployed for long periods, people with partial work ability, and those returning to working life with a learning-by-doing environment and a low-threshold opportunity on their path towards employment, the open labor market, or vocational studies.
