On the lovely Pispalanharju ridge in a traditional setting, a small top-floor studio in a 1920s wooden house with stunning views. The city center services are close by, yet here you can live surrounded by ridge nature, in a peaceful wooden-house idyll. The 14 m² apartment is located on the 3rd floor, but from street level there are only a few (though steep) steps. Move-in can be agreed flexibly, even immediately or by October 1st at the latest. The apartment includes two separate lockable storage spaces on the same floor, as well as a lockable basement storage unit. The attic can also be used for storage. The friendly housing company has a large shared terrace with a grill and a sunny communal garden with vegetable plots, all freely available for residents. A full bathroom renovation and surface renovation of the living area were completed at the beginning of 2021. The bathroom has underfloor heating, and the kitchen includes a washer-dryer and, in addition to the usual appliances, a wood-burning stove. Nearby you’ll find all the essentials: a beach, a public sauna, grocery stores, restaurants, and of course the famous Pispala stairs. Just around the corner is bus line 27, a few minutes’ walk takes you to the Pispalan valtatie bus stops, and less than 10 minutes’ walk to the nearest tram stops. It’s about 15 minutes by public transport to the Central Square and about 20 minutes to the university. Rent is €510/month, no water fee. The apartment has electric heating, and the tenant pays for electricity separately. The previous tenant’s annual consumption was about 2,700 kWh. Security deposit is €1,020 (Qasa’s deposit is not accepted), and home insurance is required. Smoking indoors is strictly prohibited. Pets are allowed. Good credit history required.
